party favors

For the party favors, I collected an assortment of orange and white Impatiens (very affordable outdoor flowers), potted them and (not without the patient help of my best friend) tied tags around them that read ‘all you need is love’ with thin blue ribbon. I presented them as something to take home and plant, in partial shade, to remind our guests of Gannon and Andrea (the engaged guests of honor). I also suggested using the pots to plant new seeds as a symbol of new beginnings… Sure, it was slightly cheesy, but this was just the right crowd for that.
