Giselle Kennedy
I am a Video Producer based in Hood River, OR, specializing in food culture, agriculture and sustainability. My 2009 film, The Ten Pound Hefeberry, screened in San Francisco as part of the How-to-Homestead series. A later rendition of the film, titled Brew, was chosen as an Official Selection of the New Belgium Film Festival, Clips of Faith. I moved to Portland, OR in the Spring of 2010 to focus my work on food culture. I have since produced all video content on food-hub.org and worked on projects with various entities, including Edible Portland and Stone-Buhr Flour. I aim to engage communities in discussions about food and inspire a new perspective on the role of food in our lives and in our world through my work.
*I am available for hire as a producer, videographer, editor and/or photographer. I shoot on a Canon 7D with a professional audio recorder and edit on FinalCutPro. If you think I am good fit for a project you have in mind, please contact me at g.kennedy.creative@gmail.com.
